OUR STORY
Our name is inspired by the combination of the words 'Right' and 'Fitness'. RitFit was born from a belief in both the right to control one’s fitness journey and the right choice of quality equipment. We’re about making the right tools that empower you to build your ideal lifestyle and fitness routine with confidence. Our founders come from a variety of backgrounds—from car design to IT engineering and furniture design—but we’re all passionate about creating convenient, quality products for fitness at home.
Starting in Delaware in 2015, we noticed a need for beginner-friendly, reasonably-priced equipment. So, we partnered with experienced fitness manufacturers to offer a product line that initially focused on yoga, Pilates, and dumbbells. With our commitment to quality and a drive for strength, we expanded into strength training gear, building a team that includes ex-athletes, nutritionists, ergonomic experts, and sports pedagogy professors. Many of us are also moms, dads, pet owners, and home gym users, so we understand the importance of safety and professionalism in our equipment.
Our goal is to make home fitness simple, strong, and effective. With over 30 patents, we’re proud to see our power racks and other products earn support from more than 100,000 satisfied customers, plus recognition from platforms like Garage Gym Reviews, Luke's Garage Gym, Garage Gym Life, and endorsements from trainers and athletes alike. OUR JOURNEY
2015
RitFit began its journey by offering essential fitness products designed for home gym setups. We started with a selection of practical items like resistance bands, dumbbells, kettlebells, and foldable benches, helping fitness enthusiasts create their own workout spaces at home. These accessible and versatile products quickly became a favorite among those looking for convenient, at-home fitness solutions.
2018
We've built a solid reputation and secured a decent market share. As part of our ongoing efforts, we ramped up our market research in the fitness industry and noticed a growing demand from home gym users for more intense training options. We introduced the PPC01, a simple 2x2 four-post squat rack in response.
2020
During the pandemic, we encountered several challenges but also found ourselves connecting with a growing number of home gym users. As more families and fitness enthusiasts began to see the value of having a gym at home, the market demand surged. In response, we introduced the PPC02 LAT Pull Down Attachment training rack, an enhancement to our basic frame that offered additional training options, meeting the varied needs of our customers.
2021
To expand our home gym equipment line and offer even more value to users, we introduced functional pieces like the bicep bench and hip thrust bench. These simple, efficient products quickly caught the attention of fitness beginners. Seeing this, our R&D team developed specialized home gym packages tailored to their needs. These packages include weight bench, barbell, weight plates, and accessories that seamlessly integrate with our existing racks. The response was positive, and these collections became a hit soon after launch.
2022
We've been working to improve the user experience of our home gym equipment by offering more versatile training solutions. As part of this effort, we introduced the PPC03 Cable Crossover power rack, providing customers with added functionality. At the same time, our engineering team concentrated on developing the Smith system. This year, we rolled out the Smith module attachment and the PRS05 Smith training rack, giving home gym users even more options to elevate their workouts
2023
Our team is growing rapidly and now holds over 30 patents. We've started developing selectorized strength equipment, and one of our latest innovations is the BLP01, a 45-degree 3-in-1 Leg Press, Hack Squat, and Calf Raise Machine. This versatile piece of equipment is designed to effectively target leg muscles, and since its release, it has quickly become a best-seller, earning high praise from home gym owners. To meet the needs of more advanced users, we've also launched the BPC04 and BPC05, commercial-level multi-functional all-in-one training racks.
2024
Earlier in the year, we introduced the M1 Multi-Functional Smith Machine, a versatile training solution that swiftly became one of 2024’s top home gym favorites. In October 2024, RitFit launched the PLC01 Leg Extension Curl Machine, which quickly sold out 500 units thanks to its innovative design and rave reviews from popular fitness YouTubers. The previous month, we took a significant step in promoting inclusivity in fitness by sponsoring renowned triathlete Kendra Herber, emphasizing support for fitness enthusiasts with disabilities. We also celebrated our commitment to women's empowerment, with over 50% of our team being women, and launched our Pink Series products to raise breast cancer awareness.
