Q1: Is the RitFit Foldable Weight Bench AWB-800  spring-loaded?

A: Yes it is! Loosely screw in the knob as shown below, the bench will enter spring loaded mode to screw in and unscrew to adjust the bench every time you wish to use a different angle. Simply pull the knob out, then you will be able to slide the adjustable bench seat and back pad to adjust the angle.

Q3: What is the oval hole under the back seat of the bench?

A: The oval hole is designed to place your ball-head pin when you fold the bench up for storage.

Q4:Why my bench is not flat, the back pad hangs lower than the seat pad?

A: When you assemble your bench, you need to insert the ball-head pin into the pin socket to stabilize the bench. It is possible that you didn't insert the ball-head pin into the pin socket.

Make sure the ball-headed pin is inserted into the pin socket

I also need a replacement adjustment knob, the one I received today was faulty. The spring pulls the pin out every time I try to safely tighten & secure the knob for the bench.
