The dual-marked 7ft Olympic barbell bar is intended to be used as a general-purpose bar that is suitable for the Olympic lifts but can also handle the slower, heavier power lifts. The hybrid 7ft Olympic barbell bar with bearing weighs about 20kg (~44 pounds), has a bar shaft diameter of 28mm(1.1 inches), and a length of 2.2meters (7.2 feet). All the 2-inch weight plates are suitable for RitFit 7ft Olympic barbell bar.
BUILT TO LAST
Built to the highest standard, RitFit 7ft Olympic barbell bar uses an excellent tensile strength steel shaft, quality needle bearings, and low-maintenance hard chrome coating sleeves. The 500LB weight bar has a center knurl, which helps hold the bar in place during back squats. While the 700/1000LB weight bar has no center knurl, great for those high reps. The medium-depth knurling offers a firm but non-abrasive grip. Needle bearings allow for a smoother, quieter spin and a more reliable turnover at maximum loads.
3 LEVELS TO CHOOSE FROM
RitFit 7ft Olympic barbell bar provides 3 capacity options(500/700/1000 LB) to choose from. Whether you’re a newbie, intermediate, or elite athlete, you can find a bar good for you. What is the warranty?
The RitFit 7ft Olympic Barbell Bar has a 3-year warranty. Warranty against bending does not cover any weight bar which has been damaged due to negligent or faulty use, alteration, maintenance, storage, or handling by the user. Negligent or faulty use includes abusive dropping of the weight bar (i.e., dropping the bar on a box, bench, spotter arms, or pins in a power rack, excessive dropping with insufficient or damaged bumpers, excessive dropping with iron plates, and similar usage). Any specific issues regarding a RitFit product with which a customer is not satisfied will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
What's the difference between bushing and bearing sleeves?
Both bushing and bearing sleeves produce sufficient sleeve rotation, but ball or needle bearings allow for a faster, smoother, quieter spin and have a more reliable turnover for maximum loads, which is a better fit for Olympic-style lifts. By comparison, a bushing sleeve is more efficient for powerlifting movements, which are slower and more strength-focused. RitFit 7ft Olympic Barbell Bar features needle bearing, perfect for Olympic weight lifts.
Why are there one set or two sets of knurling marks on a barbell bar?
There are two major standards for where to put knurl markings on a barbell: designed by the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) and the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF). The knurl markings themselves allow for athletes to set up properly for the lift they are attempting and provide a visual for even hand placement on the barbell bar.
Which barbell is best suited for me?
The 500/700/1000 LB Olympic Barbell bars are basically the same in terms of size. The biggest differences are the weight capacity and knurling marks. The 500LB weight bar has a center knurl, but no dual marks, which is perfect for clean and jerks movements. If you mostly do powerlifting movements, like bench, squat, and deadlift, which requires a tighter and more narrow grip, a 700/1000 LB weight bar is more suitable for you.
