Each plate features a 2’’ steel-lined center hole, which fits Olympic size barbells and will maintain their shape in between uses. Some bumper plates will bounce high and cause injury, while our plates have low bounce, which is perfect when you want to display your strength. Low bounce makes them trustworthy to be used at home gyms, smaller spaces, or when working out with others.

Due to the extremely thick rubber coating, these bumper plates are highly resistant to bending. The rubber is much thicker than just a coating and the solid steel center hubs are sturdier. Steel inserts molded into the bumper plates increase durability versus regular brass inserts. Another thing that you will immediately notice when lifting ToughFit bumper plates is how snugly they fit together on the bar as well as the low bounce effect they exhibit when dropped.
Embossed with weight identifiers and our ToughFit branding, these weight plates are built to last compared to plates with UV print color lettering. The weight marking also allows users to identify the species.
