This October, pink at RitFit means something bigger than a color palette. We are proud to announce a year-long partnership between RitFit and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), the largest private funder of breast cancer research in the world. This year, RITFITNESS is donating $150,000 to BCRF, and our Pink Series home gym collection sits at the center of the campaign.
The connection is a natural one. RitFit exists to make strength training accessible at home, and consistent exercise is one of the few lifestyle factors that research has repeatedly associated with better long-term health, including a lower risk of breast cancer. A home gym brand supporting the scientists who study that connection is not a stretch. It is the point.
Why a Home Gym Brand Supports Breast Cancer Research

We built the RitFit Pink Series for women who want serious strength equipment that also fits their space and their style: pink Smith machines, benches, leg press machines, plates, and dumbbells engineered to the same specifications as our core lineup. October has always been the collection's biggest month, and we wanted that momentum to go further than a seasonal colorway.
There is also a research angle. Large observational studies consistently link regular physical activity with a lower risk of breast cancer, and organizations like BCRF publish educational content encouraging movement as part of a healthier lifestyle. To be clear about what that does and does not mean: no piece of equipment, ours included, prevents, treats, or diagnoses any disease, and nothing in this article is medical advice. Exercise is one factor among many, and personal risk questions belong with a healthcare professional. What we can do is make it easier to build an exercise habit, and fund the researchers asking harder questions than we ever could.
About the Breast Cancer Research Foundation
BCRF was founded in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder and has grown into the largest private funder of breast cancer research in the world, dedicated to ending breast cancer by advancing the most promising research. The stakes are easy to state and hard to overstate: about 1 in 8 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
RitFit is now listed on BCRF's partners page at the $100,000+ annual commitment level, alongside brands like La Mer, Jo Malone London, Tom Ford Beauty, and GNC. Several Pink Series products are also featured on BCRF's Shop Pink marketplace, including the Pink M1 PRO Smith Machine package and our pink dumbbell sets.
What the $150,000 Donation Supports
BCRF funding goes directly to scientists, and the scale of our commitment has a human shape.
Our partnership with BCRF runs through June 2027, and October is only the opening chapter. As BCRF shares research progress and breakthroughs with partners over the year, we plan to pass the highlights along here on the blog, so following RitFit is a way to follow the science your support helps fund.

What This Partnership Is, and What It Is Not
Transparency matters in cause marketing, so we want to draw the lines clearly. BCRF does not endorse, certify, or recommend any product or brand, and RitFit does not claim otherwise. Our equipment is not a medical device and no RitFit product treats, prevents, or diagnoses any disease. What we are is a committed donor, and every statement we make about where the money goes is the one below.

How to Support Breast Cancer Research This October
- Learn. Spend a few minutes at bcrf.org reading about the research your support helps fund. BCRF publishes plain-language updates on the studies its donors make possible, and the partners page shows the full community behind that work.
- Move. If you are starting from zero, our guide to exercise and lifestyle habits linked to lower breast cancer risk covers aerobic work, resistance training, and HIIT in practical terms. Health authorities commonly recommend about 150 minutes of moderate activity per week, but every added session counts, and consistency beats intensity.
- Share. Awareness is a numbers game. Passing a screening reminder or a research update to one friend or family member this month is a real contribution, pink equipment or not.
The partnership runs through June 2027. Pink October is where it starts, but the research continues after the decorations come down, and so does our commitment to it.
