Made with 100% virgin rubber, so there's almost no rubber smell out of the box. The steel insert in the center is chrome-plated to resist rust, and it slides onto the bar smoothly and quietly every time you load or unload weight.
Meets IWF Competition Standards
Every plate has a 90 durometer rating, which means low bounce and a solid, controlled drop — no chasing your bar across the floor. All plates are 450mm (17.7in) in diameter and weigh within ±10g of the labeled weight, so your lifts stay accurate and consistent.
Raised Edges Keep Plates Looking New
The raised edge on both the rubber and the steel center stops plates from grinding against each other when stacked. That means less scuffing, less noise, and a set that still looks sharp after months of heavy use.

I have several products by RITFIT and I have never been disappointed.
These are really nice. They are super thin, and take up very little space on the racks. I do wish you had standard weights like "35's" instead of "30's". One thing that I'm not super happy about is the inside of the 2" hole is painted as well, and the yellow paint (as well as the blue paint from the 45's I purchased) is rubbing off on the bars and machines I put them on. Maybe not pain that interior ring? Just an idea.
Every plate I have ordered was rubber. The description did not say they were metal. I would not have purchased these if I knew they were metal.
These are great ultra-thin weight plates. Just be ready for some noise if they bump together. It's like a loud bell.
